ECM

Enterprise Content Management

The ECM practice focuses on enterprise platforms used to capture, manage, secure, search, store, govern, integrate, and deliver business content across complex organizations.

This includes documents, images, records, reports, metadata, workflows, repositories, search services, access controls, integrations, and content lifecycle management.

Samuels Enterprises approaches ECM from an engineering and architecture perspective, with emphasis on implementation, administration, integration, modernization, migration, workflow, and production support.

Enterprise Engineering Approach

The ECM labs are designed to demonstrate how enterprise content platforms are structured, administered, integrated, and supported in real environments.

The focus is not simply on storing files. Effective ECM requires coordination between repositories, metadata, security, databases, workflow, search, business applications, users, infrastructure, and governance.

The objective is to show the full engineering picture: how content enters the organization, how it is classified and stored, how users retrieve it, how workflows process it, how systems integrate with it, and how the platform is maintained and modernized over time.

Experience

Samuels Enterprises brings direct experience across enterprise content management, document imaging, workflow automation, systems integration, production support, and repository administration.

This includes hands-on work with EMC Documentum, IBM FileNet, Kofax, SQL Server, Oracle, Java, .NET, workflow technologies, and enterprise support across government, healthcare, education, financial services, and other enterprise environments.

ApplicationXtender documentation in the project also reflects the broader ECM architecture involved in repository administration, imaging, workflow, records controls, security, integration, and enterprise content operations.
